De-addiction

Dependence on alcohol, tobacco, other substances, or habits like the internet.

Dependence can build gradually, on alcohol, tobacco or other substances, or on habits like gaming, the internet or gambling. It changes how the brain responds to reward and self-control, which is why willpower alone often isn't enough. Seeking help is a sign of strength, and recovery is possible for everyone, at any stage.

Signs you might notice

  • Using more, or more often, than you intended
  • Struggling to cut down despite wanting to
  • Needing more to get the same effect, or feeling unwell without it
  • Neglecting work, studies, health or relationships
  • Continuing despite the harm it's causing
  • Feeling restless, irritable or low when you stop

How we help

De-addiction care is compassionate and non-judgemental, it supports you safely through withdrawal, addresses the reasons behind the dependence, and helps prevent relapse. Reaching out early makes recovery gentler, and no situation is too far gone to begin.

This is general information, not a diagnosis, a consultation is the way to understand your own situation.
